First place winners of all six flights will receive $500, a trophy, and a hotel night stay at a HANMI-member hotel.
Second place finishers will receive $300 and a trophy; and third place winners will receive $200 and a trophy.
Hole-in-one prizes include $15,000 from Shell Marianas, $25,000 from Bank of Guam, a Mazda 3i from Triple J Motors, and $25,000 by HANMI, Traders Insurance, and Star Water.
Raffle prizes at the event awards banquet include airline tickets to Asia and the United States; hotel night stays in Japan, Guam, and HANMI-member hotels; golf passes, and numerous others.
Early bird tournament fee, including green fee and the awards banquet, is $95 for payments today and $110 beginning tomorrow.
This year’s tournament will be open to the first 144 paid registrants, and forms are available Laolao Bay Golf Resort, Coral Ocean Point, Hyatt Regency Saipan, and Marianas Country Club. Registration on tournament day starts at 6 a.m., and the tournament begins at 7 a.m.
The tournament features six categories: Championship Flight, A Flight, B Flight, C Flight, Seniors (55 years-and-over), and Ladies. Players in the Championship Flight must have 0-5 handicaps, while those in A Flight are 6-10 handicappers. The B Flight is for players with 11-17 handicap, while C Flight are for players with handicap above 17. Winners for the female golfers will be determined using the Double Peoria handicap system. For an additional $20, players may also compete for nearest to the pin, most accurate drive, and longest drive.
A portion of the proceeds will go the Victims Assistance Fund for victims of the November 2009 shooting incident in Saipan.

The awards ceremony will be held at Fiesta Resort and Spa at 6 p.m.
Previously, HANMI has supported Crimestoppers, PAWS, the Chinatown skatepark, Dept. of Public Safety Bike Patrol Program, Saipan Marathon and other community causes with the proceeds of the tournament. (PR)
