The Lynn’s cagers who tied it with the Torch Bearers in the regular season standings got the sixth play off spot on a point system.
With Dan Mateo, Christian Devero and Noel David firing easy baskets, Lynn’s BBQ put Koi Bar under siege in the first quarter, attacking them for an 11-point lead.
Edwin Santos helped out in the second period as De Vero kept the surge to keep the gap wide open towards the end of the first half.
Manalo started dominating the inside court as he completed follow ups. However, Juan Camacho and Tony Webb got the momentum this time firing seven and 10 respectively to help Koi’s Bar bounce back for the 10-point lead in the third quarter.
Lynn’s put clamps on Koi’s offense in the fourth quarter pushing them to edge the resulted to a series of turnovers.
Fast breaks in the least few minutes of the final quarter rewarded the Lynn’s the lead with Dan Mateo basketing a three-pointer to win the ball game.
