Quitano, 25, is the third defendant in the Pink Pawnshop robbery last year.
Marlon Marlon, a co-defendant, was sentenced to 14 years imprisonment, all suspended except for seven years, after he pleaded guilty to armed robbery on Monday.
The court dismissed without prejudice the charges filed against the other defendant, Zhuo Fan Zhang, the driver of the getaway vehicle.
Quitano was charged two counts of aggravated assault and battery, two counts of assault and battery, two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, one count of armed robbery, one count of theft, one count of contempt, two counts of attempted first degree murder, one count of conspiracy to commit robbery, and one count of burglary.
According to the prosecution, Martin and Quitano robbed the Pink Pawnshop last Oct. 23, 2009 after being dropped off by Zhang.
