Gillham finished the race at a time of 1:44:59 that awarded her silver medal bowing to the speed of her opponent from CNMI, Mieko M. Carey who came in first after ending her run with 1:14:37.
Grabbing third spot is Palau’s very own young athlete, Marica Otto, who ran for 2:06:34 that rewarded her with a bronze medal.
In conclusion of the triathlon race, team CNMI took the gold in the team events with a total time of 3:38:36, while team Palau settled for silver after having a time of 4:56:37.
