The 19-year-old Ringlen changed his plea, admitting that he committed assault and battery, resisted arrest, and was involved in a conspiracy to commit burglary.
Inos imposed a three-year jail term but all suspended and with credit for time already served by Ringlen who was placed on probation for the remainder of the sentence.
On July 31, 2009, Ringlen assaulted Nelson David Nicdao.
Ringlen resisted arrest on May 1, 2010.
Ringlen and three other persons broke into Fun Fun Central Entertainment Center in Finasisu on June 29, 2009 and stole two laptop computers.
Inos told Ringlen to stay away from Fun Fun Center; pay $1,758 jointly and severally for restitution; and to cooperate and testify truthfully in other cases.
Ringlen will pay a court assessment and probation fees, the amount of which were not mentioned in the court order.
Assistant Attorney General Peter Prestley informed Inos that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has initiated removal proceedings against Ringlen, who is from Pohnpei.
Prestley also told Inos that the CNMI government spends $95 daily for keeping a criminal in jail.
