Govendo required the 33-year-old Castro to answer the charge of kidnapping, rape, sexual assault of a minor, aggravated assault and battery, and disturbing the peace on July 12, 2010.
Currently being held on $100,000 cash bail, Castro was remanded to the custody of the Department of Corrections after the hearing.
He was represented by his counsel David Banes.
The court appointed attorney Joseph James Norita Camacho to represent Angel Jess Santos, 21, the first defendant to be arrested.
Under Corrections custody since his arrest on June 18, 2010, Santos’ arraignment was set for July 12.
He is also held on $100,000 cash bail.
The Public Defender’s Office has withdrawn as counsel for Santos and Castro due to a conflict of interest.
The Department of Public Safety has yet to arrest the third suspect, a Kagman student, who was identified by the victim.
