As part of the tool to assist in the development of Course Presenters throughout Palau, Basketball Palau has developed a Course Presenters course at which coaches and administrators may become further educated in this field that will enable them to conduct improved courses throughout Palau.The main objective of this course is to improve the knowledge of presenters within basketball and other sports and therefore bring us to a higher level conducting all sports courses in the future. It will entail some points on how do people learn, powerful presentations, closer look at communication, self – analysis and reflection, resolving conflicts and situations, ideas for presentations, the best use of presenter’s venue, presentation aids, and presentation methods.
Participants who complete this course receive a Basketball Palau Accreditation certificate.All presenters who become accredited will be placed on a National Presenters register, under Basketball Palau’s National Accreditation Scheme (NAS).
The Course Presenters Course is open to all PNOC federations, schools and state governments and will be held at the PHS Resource Centre from 9.00am to 12.00pm each of the following days – Saturday 1st May, Saturday 8th May and Saturday 15th May, 2010.
Registration forms and details may be obtained from Topps Sungino or Stuart Manwaring at the basketball office at PNOC. Signing up for the course will close on Friday, 23rd of April.
