The speaker, according to his executive secretary Elizabeth C. Manglon, is expected to return to work this week.
Variety learned from other staff members that Tenorio, Covenant-Saipan, arrived last Friday morning from Los Angeles where he had to attend to “very important” family matters.
Tenorio left the island in May for an official trip to two cities in Japan where he stayed from May 21 to 27. He then went on personal leave and traveled to Los Angeles, California.
Vice Speaker Felicidad T. Ogumoro, Covenant-Saipan, was acting speaker during Tenorio’s absence.
