Bank of Hawaii will teach children to save

“Teach Children to Save” is a national campaign that raises awareness about the role that banks and bankers play in helping young people develop lifelong savings habits.

Since 1997, the campaign has reached 3.4 million young people with the help of some 80,000 banker volunteers.

The Teach Children to Save Web site is at www.teachchildrentosave.com. The program’s goal is to encourage bankers to reach 5 million students before the end of 2011, the 15th anniversary of Teach Children to Save.
