New Rotary Club president vows to tap members’ ‘passion’

“My goal is to find the find the passion of my fellow Rotarians to come up with more projects that will benefit the community,” Brazel said.

He said he is looking forward to a wonderful year of worthwhile activities with his fellow Rotarians.

Brazel was sworn in by Superior Court Associate Judge Perry B. Inos at the Hyatt Regency Saipan on Tuesday.

Brazel was off-island attending a conference when the Rotary Club installed its new set of officers and directors for 2010-2011 at the Charley’s Cabaret of the Pacific Islands Club on June 29, 2010.

During the installation dinner at the PIC, Brazel’s message was read by Rotary Club vice president Glenn Perez.

Brazel, in his message, stressed the importance of teamwork and full commitment as ingredients for success and for the organization to move to a higher level.

He said  an organization will decline if it remains static.

Brazel succeeded Kim Forrester.
