What are we working toward? What changes will produce more money for the CNMI and the people? Will reprogramming give us more money for the same problems confronting us week after week?
When will we wake up? If we don’t have the money we don’t spend money. Who will bail us out? People and businesses are leaving. We need to be an island of producers.
What’s next? When do we finally go bankrupt? If we don’t have money we have to cut programs. Not the wrong party people. We can’t borrow ourselves into prosperity. More debt means less freedom. Casinos are not the answer. What are we doing to make Saipan an attractive business environment? Nothing. We do nothing.
