Melso Miko, PVA community/support services manager, the event will start from 5 p.m to 9 p.m.
He said this is a good opportunity to launch again the PNM as the country is hosting the Micronesian games wherein many tourists and visitors are in the Island.
The aim of the event is to promote cultural heritage (arts, craft and food) and made in Palau products. The event will also provide additional activities for tourists as well as to promote social integration between community and visitors and to provide opportunity for small locally owned businesses to generate some income.
The PVA will set up tents, chairs and table for the vendors.
This is the second time the PVA will launch Palauan Night Market this year.
The first PNM was held in June. Hundreds of people from all walks of life enjoined the night listening to live music played by the local band and dance performed by the Young Palauan women while buying foods and native products.
Like the previous event, the PVA is hoping that this PNM will also be successful.
Meanwhile, as part of the Micronesia games preparation, the PVA worked with the Bureau of Public Safety in conducting taxi spot inspection last week.
Miko said they checked all the taxis if they are complying with the safety and road regulations as well as if they are properly groomed.
He said the inspection was held to ensure the security of the visitors coming to the island.
Miko, however said that all taxi driver were all in compliance with the regulations.
