After Sonics’ Adrian Palacios capped his five points with a two-pointer in the second half, the Rollers were down by two points and had only 17 minutes to turn the game around.
Confronted by the Sonics’ tight defense, Jason Palacios dribbled down and saw Aurelio moving out at the left side of the court.
Aurelio backed off a little bit more and received the ball from Palacios, then fired to give the Rollers a one-point lead, leaving the Sonics only 11 minutes to take it back.
The Rollers’ defense went much stronger at this juncture and Sonics ran out of time to make the basket.
Ham Hambros and Pat Torres led the Rollers’ offense in the first half scoring 13 and 10 points respectively.
Aurelio tallied 12 points in the game.
