After Itaas opened the game with a pair of two-pointers, Dennis Morales streaked to six points to hand Wings Travel a four-point lead at the end of the first quarter.
Joy Dayrit picked up where Morales left off, firing seven points in the second quarter while Wing Travel tightened their defense to stretch their lead to 21 points.
Despite Wings Travel’s series of turnovers in this period VCC’s fast breaks went empty keeping them nailed to 16 points.
Ed Yalong sizzled with six of his 10 points in the second half to help maintain the lead.
Itaas, Dante Olivos and James Camacho continued their scoring surge in the third quarter to keep the gap wide open, and Wings Travel never looked back to secure their 70-45 victory.
