Police investigation showed, at around 2 a.m. on April 18, an off duty police officerreported that he saw the male suspect believed to be drunk and hiding at the G&N parking lot in Medalaii Koror.
Police immediately responded and arrested the suspect. While the suspect was sitting at the backseat of the police vehicle he threw a cigarette pack on the floor. Police inspected and discovered that the cigarette contained suspected marijuana leaves.
The juvenile was detained at the Koror Jail and was issued citation.
Meanwhile several minors involved in consuming alcohol and intoxication were also arrested over the last weekend.
According to the police report on April 18, around 3:09 a.m. a male juvenile was arrested for minor consuming alcohol, disturbing the peace and trespassing at Medalaii hamlet in Koror.
The suspect was arrested and detained at the Koror Jail.
On the same day, at around 4: 31 a.m. another juvenile was nabbed at Meketti hamlet. He was arrested for intoxication. The male juvenile was brought at the Koror Jail.
In Meyuns, another 18 year old minor was also arrested for consuming alcohol beverages and drunken and disorderly conduct.
The male juvenile suspect was apprehended for shouting and throwing rocks.
The suspect was detained in jail.
In addition, three juveniles were apprehended in the Long Island Park in Malakal.
The three male minors were arrested after seeing them driving fast at the sandy portion of Long Island.
Officers pulled over the blue minivan and discovered that all passengers were minors and intoxicated.
Suspects were detained and citations were issued.
