DYS emergency shelter coordinator Vivian Sablan said the family fun day event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Minachom Atdao Pavilion in Susupe.
“We are inviting the community to come and bring their children and enjoy over 20 family games we have prepared for the event,” Sablan said.
There will be face painting, banana printing, balloon shaping and other entertainment.
Sablan said that DYS holds a family fun day each year but this is the first time that they are merging the grand finale of the Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Awareness and Foster Care Month celebration.
Various agencies will also open informational booths and promote their services during the program.
