“We have always supported the NMC’s commitment to enhancing the programs and services that are provided to its students,” said station manager Tina Palacios. “We look forward to continuing the partnership we have with them.”
The donation was presented in support of the recently held 8th Annual NMC Foundation Golf Open, which is organized by the NMC Foundation. The tournament, the organization’s signature event, aimed to raise critical funds to support NMC’s academic programs and services.
“Sorensen Media Saipan’s donation and their continued support will always be instrumental in our efforts,” said NMC Foundation president Ben Babauta.
The NMC Foundation is a non-profit organization whose goal is to raise funds to support Northern Marianas College, the CNMI’s lone post-secondary educational institution. The organization is composed of individuals who are dedicated and committed to ensuring that CNMI students receive the utmost support in pursuing their educational goals.
The golf tournament was held on April 24 at the Saipan Laolao Bay Golf & Resort in Kagman. Close to 150 golfers met on the links and competed for over $100,000 in prizes.
