Hard Rock Café Saipan operations manager Rey Perez said their Marianas Battle of the Band has two categories: one for junior high schools and another for high schools.
“We are calling all the amateur rock bands to participate because this could be the break that you are waiting for,” he added.
Perez said the participating high school bands will perform during the PSS Youth Rock festival at the Hard Rock Café on June 4.
“This is a good opportunity for high school bands to develop their entertainment skills in rock music,” Perez said.
Interested bands can pick up their registration forms at the Hard Rock Café. Deadline for registration is on May 25 and the band participants will have an assembly meeting at 2 p.m. on May 30.
