In her written judgment and conviction order signed on May 24, 2010, Superior Court Associate Judge Ramona V. Manglona placed the 60-year-old Angui on probation for six months under the direction and supervision of the Adult Probation Office.
Angui signed a plea agreement admitting that he disturbed the peace of Bernard Ramos Cruz on March 9, 2009.
The court dismissed with prejudice the remaining charges of assault and battery, and assault with a dangerous weapon, a large stick.
Angui will stay away from his victim during the term of his probation and to refrain from any contact with his victim.
He will write a letter of apology to his victim within 30 days, pay a fine of $25, a court assessment fee of $25 within 30 days of his sentencing, and a probation fee of $60.
He will perform 50 hours of community service, and obey all CNMI and federal laws.
Angui will pay restitution to replace a screen door he destroyed.
