Belinda Omengkar gets 10 days for contempt of court, again

The court also required Omengkar to pay a $100 fine.

According to the plea agreement, police did not find Omengkar when authorities conducted a random search at her residence, and the defendant was not with her third party custodian on Aug. 8, 2011 as ordered by the court in a pending case.

Assistant Attorney General Tiberius Mocanu and Shelli Neal prosecuted this case while Omengkar was represented by court-appointed defense attorney Gregory Koebel.

The court earlier sentenced Omengkar to 50 days’ imprisonment for contempt of court charges in violation of the court’s pretrial release conditions in another case.

Omengkar’s “ice” charges have yet to be adjudicated by the court.
