On June 10, 2011, the prosecution said Pettis, 18, punched his victim several times in the face until the victim passed out.
The victim told police Pettis also assaulted him last January.
Police said Pettis has a history of underage drinking and beating up young individuals.
Wiseman credited the two days that Pettis already served at the Department of Corrections facility where he will report on Jan. 6, 2012 to serve the remainder of the sentence.
The court said Pettis will shoulder the transportation cost from Tinian to the Corrections facility on Saipan.
Wiseman originally sentenced Pettis to one year imprisonment, all suspended except for seven days.
Pettis will pay a $100 fine which is payable within six months, a $25 court assessment fee, and a $200 probation fee.
Pettis will pay a restitution not to exceed $250 to cover the medical costs of his victims.
He will complete 50 hours of community work service and will write letters of apology to his victims.
As part of the plea agreement, the court granted the prosecution’s request to dismiss the remaining charge of disturbing the peace, and the dismissal of all charges relating to a separate case against Pettis.
Assistant Attorney General Russel Lorfing prosecuted the case, while Pettis was represented by court-appointed attorney Joaquin Torres.
