Donations can be dropped off at the Filipino community pavilion at the Susupe Civic Center from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Olive Yana, UFO adviser, said they prefer to collect cash so it can be sent to the victims right away.
In-kind donations can take 45 days or more to arrive in Cagayan de Oro City and Iligan City, the hardest hit areas, she said.
“As soon as we can collect enough cash we will send it immediately to non-government organizations or government agencies distributing the donations,” she added.
Today, UFO will have a drop-off center at the Garapan street market from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Yana said the fund drive will continue at the Filipino community pavilion on Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
On Saturday, you can drop your donations at the UFO booth at the Sabalu Market from 8 a.m. 12 noon.
The fund drive will continue at the Filipino community pavilion on Sunday and on the following day.
