“This text amendments will make the zoning law friendlier than what it is now,” he said.
The Saipan Northern Islands Legislative Delegation has already scheduled the presentation of the zoning officials regarding the text amendments.
Acting Zoning Administrator Therese T. Ogumoro said they transmitted copies of the text amendments to lawmakers last July.
She said the Saipan delegation has scheduled a presentation for today at 9:30 a.m. in the House chamber on Capital Hill.
Blanco said members of the board, Ogumoro and their legal counsel Kate Fuller will make the presentation.
Last August, the Zoning Office submitted additional text amendments and a map regarding the proposed changes.
