On Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011, at about 1:30 p.m., an elderly Korean couple — tourists — were playing golf at hole number 16. They noticed a motocross bike near the area. The person on the motorcycle was dressed in black and had a black jacket and a black motorcycle helmet.
The couple exited their golf cart to play golf when the person riding the motorcycle sped up, rode toward their golf cart and snatched the victim’s handbag. The thief sped away heading east toward the jungle.
The items stolen included a peach colored leather bag containing Korean passports, a red leather wallet with identification, credit cards and currency. The cash stolen was estimated at over $1,000 including Korean won.
