Camacho attended Gonzaga University School of Law and received his J.D. in 2001. Following law school, he served as a prosecutor for the CNMI Office of the Attorney General. He was later elected to the 17th CNMI House of Representatives, where he served as House floor leader.
Camacho is married to Viola Alepuyo, and they have one child, Ulen Joseph Alepuyo Camacho.
