The two-day event, which was postponed last month due to weather, ended on Saturday with the CGK Ballers beating the GF Rollers, 20-16 for the coed 14-and-under title. Team Next Generation ruled the 12U finals on a 12-10 win versus Dynamite, while the young Lakers ousted the Spurs for the 10U title.
In the 14U division, Ivryn Malonzo drove the CGK Ballers to victory on eight points while Ted Vivero and Emerson Feria added six apiece.
The first-runner ups consisted of William Camacho, Jeron Ano, and JP Iglesias.
Next Generation’s four-man squad included Kyle Rios, Jethro Cruz, Wilfredo Francisco, and Jerald Castillo, while Dynamite had CJ Morales, Dicky Feria, and Kenji Abobo.
Meanwhile, Khristian Itaas, Chioni Dela Cruz, Mackoy Metran, and Zamuel Alfred represented the Lakers. The Spurs, who rallied on six points in the last four minutes of the 10U finals, included Roger Valencia, Josh Alfred, JP Cruz, and Jonas Metran.
