Earlier this year I had the opportunity to travel to China to meet Mr. Jia’s business associates and visit many of Mr. Jia’s multi-million dollar development projects. I am confident that Mr. Jia has the financial capability to infuse capital into the Coral Ocean Point resort to improve the facilities and create jobs. This infusion of foreign investment capital is greatly needed to generate economic growth in our local economy.
Mr. Jia has visited the CNMI numerous times with his business development team and has shown his sincere interest and long term intent to invest in the CNMI. In addition to improving the Coral Ocean Point property, Mr. Jia’s investment will also include opening a new Beijing route partnering Coral Ocean Point with the Tinian Dynasty Hotel and Casino to bring more tourists to Saipan and Tinian.
