Last week, he said PDI donated 10 golf clubs and 10 golf balls for the manamko’.
“We are very thankful for the generous donation of PDI to the senior citizens program,” he said.
PDI marketing manager Gordon Marciano, who handed the sports equipment to the center, hopes the manamko’ will continue to enjoy playing golf.
In the past, PDI also donated golf clubs, balls and flagpoles to the Aging Center.
Manglona said they have several congregates who regularly play golf.
Every year, the Aging Office conducts a gold tournament for senior citizens from Tinian, Rota and Saipan.
Senior Citizen sAdvisory Council president Teresita Sorroza thanked PDI, saying the donation was very timely because most of their sports equipment is already broken.
“We need new sports equipment,” she said.
