“We have some volunteers to respond to the community’s request,” he said.
The program was temporarily suspended from July 28 to Aug. 18.
Dog control program director Ray Lizama said the eradication of stray dogs is important for the safety of the people, especially pedestrians and motorists.
The mayor’s office will continue its removal of dead animals from public roads and the dog tagging program, he added.
Last week, Lizama said they removed a dead dog from Middle Road.
He said the pet’s owner should have leashed it since it was already registered, he said.
Today, dog tagging will be conducted at Dandan Elementary School.
“People are still coming to register their dogs,” Lizama said.
