Rose Dance School to mark 2nd anniversary on Sept. 3

Dance instructor Resty Joson said they are planning a simple celebration which they wish to share with the public on Saturday evening, Sept. 3.

The program will be held at Rose Dance School in Garapan from 8:30 p.m. with an entrance fee of $3, inclusive of one drink.

The school is on the second floor of the Canton Restaurant building.

Joson said they are happy to see an increasing number of enrollees especially from the local community.

“With the high cost of hospital bills and healthcare, exercise is the best option for everybody,” he added.

Joson is inviting everyone to join the aerobics and Latin dance classes from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday to Thursday, at the Susupe 4-H Club, and from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Thursday, at the Carolinian Village in Garapan. Ballroom dancing is from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Fridays. Walk-in visitors are welcome, and the admission fee is only a dollar per individual.

Joson said anyone can join — especially those who don’t know how to dance.

“A lot of our students didn’t know how to dance when they came in. We will be happy to assist you,” Joson said.

“Aside from the health benefits, you will enjoy a changed lifestyle, find new friends and enjoy a happier outlook in life.”

Rose Dance School is also offering a promotion for ballroom and Latin dance classes for special groups from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday to Saturday.

For one-on-one tutorial, Rose Dance School offers lessons for $50 per individual covering four lessons and one hour per lesson.

Friday nights are ballroom nights at Rose Dance School. For an entrance fee of $5 inclusive of one drink, you can dance the night away.
