Kagman High School events

Help KagHS prepare for the opening of the best school year ever.

“We will be painting the exterior walls of the school in preparation of school year 2011-2012 and our accreditation visit in April.  Wear your Ba ‘Haki clothes  and bring a paint brush if you have one and a dish to share.  We will provide the paint and other supplies,” KagHS said.

High fence line clearing party

On Aug. 17 and 18, help KagHS beautify its campus fence line.  “We want to clear the sakati and tangantangan to make our school safe and secure by providing visibility thorough the fences.  Help us with this big task by bringing your kama, machete, bush cutters and strength. We will provide the gas for the brushcutters.  Bring a dish to share for the potluck at lunch.  Thank you for making KagHS a safe school.”

Water blasting party

On Aug. 22 and 23, help the school blast last year’s dirt away.

“We want to water blast the sidewalks and window shutters in preparation for the opening of the school.  Help us with this wet task by bringing a waterblaster if you have one and a hose. We will provide the gas or electricity, if your blaster is electric, and water.  Bring a dish to share for the potluck at lunch. Thank you for your dedication to making KagHS a better place.”

Re- registration ongoing

The opening of school is fast approaching.  Students planning on attending KagHS must re-register in order to get a schedule of classes.

This will update school records and contact information to provide the best services to students and their parents.

Incoming 9th Graders from Hopwood, if you have not registered yet, do it soon. Many of you are not registered yet and time is running out.

Required documents:  copy of birth certificate, school entrance health certificate, copy of medical insurance card, official transcript, legal guardianship document if needed and registration application which includes an E-Rate income survey.  Do not delay!

Official registration will end Aug. 19.  Late registration will be accepted, but placement in choice classes depends on early registration.
