Operation CNMI HomeFront Support coordinator Geri Willis said donations have continued to pour in from various groups and establishments.
Willis said a team of volunteers are going to pack all the donations into boxes ready for sending at the multi-purpose center in Susupe on Nov. 26 starting at 9 a.m.
On Thursday last week, Operation CNMI HomeFront Support received donations of dental supplies from the Seventh-day Adventist Dental Clinic.
Willis said Operation CNMI HomeFront Support has been receiving added exposure on social networking websites, including Facebook and on betelnutradio.com (https://www.betelnutradio.com)
Willis earlier said they were looking at sending about 250 care packages this year.
Donors can buy pre-selected items at Joeten Susupe, Triple J Super Fresh Market, Fleming’s Market on Tinian and the student center and the president’s office at Northern Marianas College. The items include snacks such as dry mango, rice crackers, asparagus biscuits, Bin Bin crackers, canned goods such as Diamond tuna, Vienna sausage, Ox & Palm corned beef and Spam, bowl noodle soup and Sapporo Ichiban soba, and other items.
