THE Truth is OVER 110 businesses & nonprofits have CLOSED under Arnold and still No Economic Recovery Plan that I’ve been yelling & pleading FOR the People since Arnold sat in 2020. But it seems Arnold, the legislature and even the People are ALL OK with what is happening given there hasn’t been any “checks & balances by the Legislature and No protest of any kind from the People.” When there are no proactive measures by the Governor, no checks & balances by the legislature, no prosecutions of high-profile cases & no protest of any kind BY the People, it all equals THIS mess of an economy & life WE have today. It’s plain & clear that WE have an “impotent governor, legislature, judiciary” at the helm of our government and more importantly the People are still totally SILENT with No leadership coming from the opposing party (Democrats), which is why WE have a dying economy with no recovery plan. By now it would seem that someone will start to listen to Ambrose the Economist and stop the silence on the rubberstamping nepotism & subterfuge being perpetrated by Arnold. When are Voters going to ask “WHAT has Arnold done to improve our Tourism Industry and WHAT is his plan beyond begging and hoping the military can help with a temporary fix for his second term. WHAT has the legislature done to improve our Tourism Industry and WHY do they continue to rubber-stamp Arnold instead of working FOR their People. WHY can’t the judiciary get a simple Bill passed to allow the Chief Justice to appoint at his discretion a continuing rotating judge from the mainland to END THIS Recusal Game played by ALL the Local judges which is KILLING Justice in the CNMI at the highest level. No disrespect but All of THIS is the TRUE reality about our branches of government and its pathetic for TRUE!
I know some readers & politicians with poor acceptance HATE THIS coming from an “outsider” but it’s the TRUTH and if not me, then who and if not now then WHEN? The CNMI is truly blessed to have Ambrose as an activist FOR the People & some don’t know nor want to admit it. However, I ask WHERE are the local activists & community leaders who must step-up & stop being impotent and lead the charge to hold our leaders accountable by protesting, as WE need a thousand Fabians for TRUE! WHEN & WHAT is ENOUGH suffering to provoke the Local citizenry to start exercising their 1st Amendment Rights by demanding & holding our leaders accountable for a BETTER CNMI like OUR counterparts on the mainland. THIS impotency is KILLING the CNMI right in our faces with declining economic conditions coming daily with no opposition — can’t wait for Arnold’s SOCA Show. WE the People are stuck in a dichotomy being dammed & black-balled by Republicans like I am if WE do speak-up and dammed if WE don’t DO Something because none of the branches of OUR government are “producing like or at the level WE need them to produce.” Locals must start taking ownership in THEIR government or it will be whatever they want going down our throats with no checks or oversight on the subterfuge. Heck, everyone in the legislature is even SILENT on Arnold breaking the law for PSS 25% and they SWEAR their full support for education — LOL to keep from crying citizens!
It is totally unacceptable that No member of the Legislature has never authored legislation for MPLT to create “subsidies & programs to use the MPLT funds to HELP the Local People” since the conception of MPLT decades ago — HELLER NMDs where’s your Leader! THIS impotency defies the logic for even creating MPLT if the money is not “DIRECTLY-HELPING NMDs”! Why am I the only one yelling for my wife & children as EVERY NMD surely wants THIS! BUT the “do nothing attitude” and the lack of any Local activists has allowed MPLT & its Board to remain “a vacationing post for FREE travel & loan institution for Governors,” as THIS is the PATHETIC impotency to deliver services FOR the suffering NMDs! WE the People have been just watching silently at our leaders only “going through the motions of governing, traditional ribbon cuttings & photo ops” of no real value to improving our entire economy and the quality of life in the CNMI, which is WHY WE the People have THIS mess of an economy & life today!
If there had even been ONE letter or Op eds proving I was wrong it might be understandable to ignore my advice but readers can attest to the fact that No ONE has written anything in opposition to my many Op ed messages of TRUTH in over a decade, as you can’t kill the TRUTH. But it is WHAT readers are NOT seeing in opposition that they should recognize as the real problem. WE are getting the continued Same-O pathetic politics-tricks & childish pathetic character assassination attempts about the messenger instead of efforts & comments for real progress that is being eluded. You can’t kill the TRUTH that will continue to rise to the top, as “ONLY the People lose-out when bigotry overrules the TRUTH and the need for Improvements & CHANGE.” Prayers FOR all of us in THIS sea of Impotence with no plan nor leader(s) to get us on the right course to find real prosperity!
