The Pacific Judicial Council sponsored the training and relevant court’s personnel in Micronesia — Palau, Yap, Guam, Chuuk, Pohnpei, Kosrae and Saipan — and American Samoa participated in the training.
The participants received advanced training on the roles of court’s interpreters and the code of ethics that applies to interpreting.
Yap State Court used its share of the Compact training funds for its two participants in the training.
