“We cancelled the All-Stars match last Sunday because of the bad weather. We re-scheduled the competition for this coming Sunday,” said League Director Rey Perez in an interview with the Marianas Variety.
The Variety learned that the playoffs season will kick off tonight at the Garapan Court followed by the semifinals match on Friday.
Although the game was re-scheduled due to the weather, there will still be fun games for the fans before the All-Stars match begins.
The games include the Buzzer Beater Challenge, Half-Court shootout, Tap-Board Challenge, and the Three-point shootout.
There will also be a 12-and-under exhibition match for the youth players in care of the Rollers Basketball Club’s Joe Diaz.
The presentation of the individual awards such as the seasonal Most Valuable Player award will be announced during the half-time game of the championship match.
