The group of 33 students and 3 professors from the South Korean university arrived on Saipan to participate in various beautification projects around the island. Part of their academic curriculum requires the students to perform community service.
At the college, the group took time to clean campus grounds including picking up trash around campus, gardening, and painting various fixtures at NMC.
The group also cleaned other places on Saipan including the Korean Memorial Park in Marpi and the area along Beach Road from 13th Fisherman’s Memorial to American Memorial Park. In addition to the cleanup, the group also visited local senior citizens at the Manamko’ Center.
