Other members of the delegation include the former senator from Chuuk, Peter Sitan, who is consulting for the Department and the Foreign Fisheries Agency on the rehabilitation loan project, and Peter Philipson, an economist.
The FSM delegation paid a courtesy call on Gov. Sebastian Anefal and Lt. Gov. Tony Tareg and discussed the need for Yap to provide all the necessary information in order to expedite the process of the loan for the fisheries development project.
The FSM group then held a joint meeting with the relevant agencies of the state government that should be providing the necessary documents that the national delegation is seeking.
The FSM delegation will be working closely with those agencies during the week to make sure that it obtains those documents before it leaves the island on Sunday, June 28.
