Villagomez, who will be serving a second term if confirmed by the Senate, told Variety: “Everything went well. No problem at all.”
With no opposition to his nomination, Villagomez is expected to be confirmed by the Senate when it holds its next session.
“I am confident based on the oral and written testimonies. Everyone is in support,” he said.
He said he remains “committed to work to the best of his ability to serve on the board and in the best interest of the commonwealth.”
