Kabiriel competes in Guam

“I ran with my nephews — Jackson, Chris, Jesse, and Thom. We each ran one mile,” Kabiriel told Variety in a phone interview.

Kabiriel stormed through the final leg in five minutes and three seconds.

According to him, the final leg was a little longer than a mile.

“I’m happy for my team because they want to win the race,” he said.

The event isn’t over yet for Kabiriel, who will return to Guam this Friday. As the only Saipan-based runner, he will compete in the 1.5-kilometer, 5K, and 10K events at the Leo Palace Track and Field.

This will be Kabiriel’s second time to participate since last year’s competition.
