Acting Prime Minister Sam Abal said the report was prepared by Somare’s personal physician and cardiologist, Isi Kevau, following his visit to Singapore to see the PM a week ago.
“Grand Chief is recovering well, better than (his physician had) envisaged,’’ Abal said at a press conference.
He said Somare had been away for almost three months so the cabinet had requested Kevau a week ago to make a report.
“In terms of his health, he’s recovering well. Sir Kevau thought PM might become disoriented but he is doing well,’’ Abal said.
