“We will be providing her with strategic plans, communications with [the Western Association of Schools and Colleges], financial information, program review updates, and other key pieces of data,” NMC interim President Lorraine T. Cabrera said.
She said Hart is expected to arrive here in the first week of July.
Hart will meet with the NMC board of regents, management team, students, staff and faculty.
She will also meet with members of the college’s governance structure, including the council and the budget and finance committee.
“It’s important that we welcome and support the new president and ensure that her transition to NMC occurs smoothly,” Cabrera said.
With her extensive background in education and management, Hart’s leadership will continue the significant gains “we have made in our instructional, accreditation, and recruitment efforts,” Cabrera added.
The transition team will also assist in introducing Hart to the CNMI leadership, the NMC Foundation, alumni, the Saipan Chamber of Commerce, the Saipan Rotary Club, the Public School System and other NMC partners, she said.
