In a statement, police said they carried out early-morning raids on two central Auckland addresses.
The raids, including one carried out by armed police, were the result of a two-month operation targeting an alleged Iranian organized crime syndicate.
Dubbed Operation Crow, it netted 2.38 kilograms worth of “P,” with an estimated street value of $2,380,000, police said.
Police also seized $16,000 in cash, a Taser disabling device, as well as a Range Rover and BMW SUV.
Three men have been arrested as a result.
Two Iranian nationals living in Auckland, aged 31 and 42, will be facing a variety of charges including importing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine for supply, supplying methamphetamine, conspiracy to import methamphetamine and participation in an organized criminal group, police said.
The third man, a 34-year-old New Zealander with associations to the King Cobra Gang, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for supply.
