On Sunday, the Saipan SDA Pathfinder Club and the Saipan SDA Youth will sponsor the “Family Fun Bike Ride.”
Event coordinator Girlie Zunega Aguilar said the program starts at 7 a.m. from the Garapan tennis court to Paupau Beach.
Community members, bike enthusiasts, youth and adults, are encouraged to join the 4.8-mile bike ride event.
Aguilar said the “Family Fun Bike Ride” is a fundraising campaign for the accommodation of delegates to a youth leadership training on Guam this August.
The registration fee for the bike ride is $5 which entitles a participant to one ticket for the raffle draw after the event.
“Why not bring a picnic basket and swimming gear to enjoy at Paupau Beach?” Aguilar added.
She said the group is also looking for donations for the raffle: gift certificates or cash.
“Your generosity is very much appreciated. Please let us know when is the best time to come and pick up your donation,” she said.
