The “Fly Away” team will be in Yap from July 11 to 12, 2 working alongside with the doctors and nurses at the state hospital to learn what types of medical equipment the hospital would need to improve the service.
Chief Petty Officer Aaron McLeod paid a courtesy call on Anefal at the governor’s office where they discussed the plan and schedule for the visit.
McLeod also met with Department of Youth & Civic Affairs Director Ruotpong Pongliyab at his office before he left for another meeting with several government agencies at the Small Business Development Center.
McLeod also visited the state hospital and talked with some doctors including the acting director of the Department of Health Services, Dr. Cindy Lefagopal.
