As the woman walked past, I noticed her Coach purse, Gucci sunglasses, and several gold rings as well as necklaces. Her husband was dressed to kill, rocking a Rolex while a pair of Rayban hung from his shirt pocket. When they sat down, the man began digging through his pockets and the woman began poking through her purse. They were collecting coins and laying them all out on the table. I could hear them counting quietly. Finally, the man said aloud, “There, six dollars. Let’s eat.”
Wake up, folks. If this isn’t a sign of the times, I don’t know what is.
