“New Vision, Guam!,” a nonprofit organization, conducted the presentation of a training video Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the third floor of the GCIC building.
The Randolph-Sheppard blind vending program is federally funded to provide blind merchants with business training, retail space, startup inventory, product displays and point-of-sales systems.
The training video was developed by the blind merchants division of the National Federation of the Blind, which is the largest organization of the blind in the world.
The training presentation was part of an ongoing series of NVG activities to commemorate the 21st anniversary of the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Last week, NVG members seeking to be prospective students toured the University of Guam. For more information, call 672-456-3793/0400, or email [email protected].
