The U.S. Embassy in Pohnpei informed Anefal through the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Federated States of Micronesia that Zalamea would visit Yap state to represent U.S. Rear Adm. Paul Bushong at the Outer Islands High School graduation in Ulithi last Friday.
Zalamea, who was among the speakers at the school graduation, was scheduled to fly out to Ulithi on Friday and attend the graduation ceremony for the high school. He returned to Yap on the same day.
It was the 44th graduation for Outer Islands High School since 1968. The OIHS, which is a public school, has been in operation for over 49 years since its birth in 1963.
