Taxi group offers reward money for missing kids

Rabby Syed, the taxi group president, yesterday said the money is from their members.

“If we have big reward this will motivate people to initiate more efforts in finding the girls,” he said.

The other day, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has offered a cash reward of $10,000, in addition to the $1,000 each offered by the CNMI Crime Stoppers program and IT&E.

The total cash reward now amounts to $12,500.

Syed said their taxi units continue to carry the flyers with the pictures and information regarding the children.

He hoped that  other members of the community will  raise additional reward money.

The United Workers Movements, which Syed also heads, is helping in the ongoing search operations.
