Hard Rock Café Saipan operations manager Rey Perez said the fashion show will be open for boy and girls who are 6 to 18 years old and will be divided into categories.
The theme of the fashion show will be “Save the Planet.” Perez said they will work with the Mariana Islands Nature Alliance.
“We have just met with representatives of the MINA and we will be coming up with the final mechanics soon,” Perez said.
Anyone who wants to join is required to buy any merchandise from Hard Rock Café two weeks before the contest proper.
Perez said there will be qualifying rounds for all contestants who will join a tree planting activity on the same day.
Members of the newly formed amateur Saipan Photographers group are urged to join to contest for photographers.
Perez said they would like to see many photos taken from different angles by different photographers during the fashion show.
He said the fashion show and the photo shoot contest are geared toward raising awareness about protecting the environment.
“As soon as we finalize all the details, we will be releasing more information on how to join our fashion show or the contest for photographers,” Perez said.
