QQ league welcomes 9 teams

The QQ basketball games are scheduled to commence every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with two games every scheduled day; first game is at 6:15 pm while the second game is at 8pm.

Team Blue Hauz bagged the best uniform award while team Konflikt’s muse clinched the best muse award.

Guest speakers included Saipan mayor Donal Flores, Northern Marianas Amateur Sports Assocation’s President Michael White, and QQ Car Rental Owner and President James Hann.

The tournament, after following a round robin format, will follow a single elimination round with the top two teams advancing to the semi-finals round.

During the play-offs format No.3 will be pegged up against No. 6 during the first game, while No.4 will go head to head against No.5 for the second game.

In the Semi-Finals round winner of No.4/5 will go against No.2 for the first game, while winner of 3/6 will be put against No.1 for the second game.

“All winners during these rounds will then advance to the much-anticipated Championship game,” said QQ league Director Rey Perez in an email to the Variety.

Nine teams have stepped to the plate and they are: team Mobil headed by Marvin Decares and Jhun Estolas, Rollers Madness and Rollers Happynest headed by Joe Diaz, the Sonics headed by Omar Ajoste, team Prospect headed by Perry Inos, team Konflikt headed by Norman Delrosario and Elmer Esdrelon, team Blue Hauz headed by Dexter Tenorio, the Smart Cagers headed by Ehroll Peredo, and the Ferrera Builders headed by Wowie Abuel.
